Training

I train people to fix the adult problems that get in the way of their mission & goals.

It can be SO valuable to have an outside perspective, external facilitator and expert present for your team’s Professional Development sessions. I can help! Not only am I a Gallup Strengths Coach, I have led many types of teams and groups of leaders on a wide variety of different topics, helping to achieve missions and visions in so many ways. Trainings are a great solution for when you want to get everyone in an organization or on a team on the same page and moving in the same direction.

  • The ABCDs of Expectations: using an Asset-Based lens, Be clear on expectations, Communicate those expectations and how to Discuss when those expectations aren’t met

  • Leading Won’t Break My Soul: How to make sure you can do this work for the long haul

Other popular topics on which I facilitate focus on:

  • Team functioning, roles and responsibilities

  • Talent (hiring process, succession planning, internal leadership development, staff retention)

  • Leading through transition and change management

  • Getting clear on your beliefs as a leader

  • Self care for leaders: sustaining this work for the long haul

Frequently Asked Questions

  • I usually book trainings a few months out, but there’s always the possibility I could be available sooner. I work around client needs to the extent I am able. Please book a consultation call and we can discuss the specifics.

  • My training content is always customized to your situation! Through the planning process, we work to ensure that the training aligns to your specific needs and addresses any necessary context or recent events.

  • Like any good teacher, I believe in checks for understanding and assessments! I will measure the group against our pre-determined objectives and after an engaging, well-planned learning experience, I check for success and take any steps necessary to close any gaps.

  • Often, I deliver trainings virtually. Don’t worry — I know Zoom fatigue all too well, and I help ensure participants reduce distractions and remain engaged throughout the session. I am also available for limited in-person sessions (all over the world!) as well.

  • It varies: I certainly work mostly with groups of leaders of mission-driven organizations like schools or non-profits, but I work with a wide variety of different audiences, which I enjoy.

  • I recommend a series for deeper learning and success, but I am available for one-off sessions (or longer arrangements, for that matter) as well. Reach out and let me know what you’re thinking, and we can customize something for your organization.

  • I’ll do my best! Please reach out via the Contact Me page with what you are thinking of and I can let you know if it’s something I would be qualified to facilitate and we can work to customize something. I have had some unique experiences beyond what is listed here, and if I can’t help, I may point you to an expert better suited to your needs!

  • It depends on our plans for your sessions (i.e. number needed, level of customization needed, etc.), but prices are typically in the mid to high four figures. This includes full access to Beth through the planning and follow-up, and consideration is usually given to organization size and budget.

Organizations often use ESSER or Title funding for this development and find it a to be an effective use of grant funding.
